Sure this might not be a cutting edge news story. In fact it is relatively old news. Microsoft has made the initiative to automate some of the fixes from their knowledgebase article. Here is their statement
I stumbled across this when I was researching an IE related problem for my Oracle setup. I stumbled across their "Fix-It" solution to allow 10 IE connections by running their MSI. So now as opposed to printing out the Microsoft KB article and going to the problematic desktop/laptop and manually sifting through the registry, you can now just run the MSI. Or better yet, write a simple shell execute or batch file logon script to run when the computer starts up or the user logs on and your done.
Just thought I would throw that out there for everyone since Microsoft released it relatively quietly. Advertisements
