I had a client that needed to change service credentials across 50 servers for Backup Exec at the same time.
So, I wrote this script to change the credentials for any service remotely.
I will be rolling out Symantec's new SEP 11 soon and I need to remove the previous Symantec AV install.
This Script should work on all SAV 9-10 installs.
This script can be easily modified to run remotely. Maybe in the near future I will add this functionality.
The company I work for has a lot of computers and all of them had different local Admin passwords.
I created this script to set all local admin passwords! All you need to do is enter the names of your hosts into a .txt file.Then drop the .txt file onto the script.
